We're very happy to share that Michael Bones has joined Cohousing Canberra as Co-President, alongside Richard Etherington.
Michael’s been connected to the Demonstration Housing Program since its early days—exploring a project of his own and staying close to the movement ever since. He brings a rare mix of strategic advocacy, policy experience and local leadership—through national roles at Future Super, Climate 200 and the Investor Group on Climate Change, and as the founder of creative initiatives that have helped shape Canberra’s cultural life.
With our Stage 2 RFT for the Watson site now underway, his appointment strengthens our ability to lead with integrity, represent our community clearly, and build trust across government, industry and the public.

We are very excited that the RFT for the Watson Demonstration Housing Project has finally been issued! We are talking with the Government and possible Project Managers.
